چکیده

Background: Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (NNKPTT) is the most common clinical occurrence, affecting hemodynamics and causing symptoms of palpitations dyspnea in patients. Of mechanisms that cause paroxysmal tachycardia, atrioventricular nodal re-entry (AVNRT), re-entrant (AVRT), atrial (AT) are difficult to distinguish each other. The electrocardiogram can be used confirm diagnose mechanism tachycardia. [1]
Objectives: evaluate predictive ability 12-lead predict with regular narrow QRS complex. Methods: cross-sectional descriptive method for 92 patients.
Results: prevalence study was: reentry accounted 69.6%; 27.2%; 3.4%. In univariate regression analysis, ECG criteria 95% CI OR not containing a value 1 were: clear P' wave, pseudo r' wave V1, ST-T segment change, electrical alternation , r aVR. multivariable model, independent predictors AVNRT AVRT waves ST–T changes.

Clinical significance of wide QRS complexes at the termination of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardias.

BACKGROUND A wide QRS complex is not a rare electrocardiographic phenomenon at the termination of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT), but no plausible underlying mechanism has yet been proposed. The purpose of the present study was to elucidate the frequency and the underlying mechanism of the wide QRS complexes at the termination of PSVT. METHODS We retrospectively reviewed 305 e...

Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardias and the Preexcitation Syndromes

Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) has been a well-recognized clinical syndrome and an electrocardiographically defined arrhythmia since the early days of electrocardiography. The clinical syndrome was defined in European literature in the 19th century. In 1867, Cotton reported on an “unusually rapid action of the heart,” and this was followed by further observations by French and G...

Regular narrow QRS and regular wide QRS tachycardias in a woman with mitral regurgitation of uncertain etiology.

A 64-year-old woman had been experiencing short episodes of rapid regular heart beating for nearly a year. The bouts became frequent and lengthy, resulting in a hospital admission a month earlier when intravenously administered adenosine terminated an episode. She was discharged on diltiazem, but the bouts of tachycardia continued and were accompanied by light-headedness and sometimes nausea. W...

Regular, narrow QRS, long RP tachycardia – what is the mechanism?

We report the case of a 45-year-old male patient who was referred to our department due to palpitations for the last six months, with documented episodes of regular, long RP, narrow QRS tachycardias (Fig. 1). The patient had no history of structural heart disease, his transthoracic echocardiography demonstrated normal systolic and diastolic function and the thyroid function tests were within no...
